Crowds of people welcomed Jesus by waving palm branches and laying them on his path.
Palm Sunday is both a happy and sad day for Christians.
Christians feel happy because they are praising Jesus, but also sad because they know it was only one week later that he died.

In honor of the upcoming solar eclipse in April, which will be photographed over a zillion times, I’m including a pic of my own pic of the moon at night.
January 25, 2024, 7pm.
At that time of night, way before ‘DST’, it was completely dark by 7pm.
There were no city lights, and except for a few clouds right before they covered the moon, it was a cool and clear night.
Incredible, right? Except, it didn’t look light at all that night!
Because the moon was so bright and throwing off reflections under the clouds, I decided to take a random pic, and, in the photo only, it came out looking like the middle of the day, so I took another pic of some dark clouds, and the moon obliterated them!
The sky looks bright blue in the 1st pic, but it was pitch black at night!
I don’t know anything about photography and these pics were taken from an iPhone12. Do they have filters on them? There’s contrasts and editing and such, but all I did was crop out the house at the bottom of the pic which u can still see it’s night light on…
The ones for .25c will have mini tootsie-roll pops or a mix of various candies, while the boxes that offer .50c/3-for-a-dollar will have either Blo-pops, or the larger tootsie-roll pops, or both.
I had my own stickers made for a couple of reasons; since I only raise funds for the critters and not donating toward policies, I cannot say that I’m working on behalf of HSUS, Humane Society of the United States, I must say that I’m a ‘proud supporter’ of such.
Also, strangely enuf, these boxes came pre-printed with pricing saying;
.50c for 1 and $1.00 for 2 (?!?) duh! What sort of deal is that..?
My stickers still say 1 for .50c, 3 for a dollar, the smaller ones say .25c for 1, and $1.00 for 5, yikes, that’s a lot!

I’m so excited to begin a new route! It’s expanding the existing route, but since my current route only exists of 6 locations, it’s more like visits than a true route.
In the midst of tough times, I’m actually adding several locations, may even become a real route again, being the only job that’s stuck with me thru thick and thin for years on end, it’s a worthy cause and hopefully profitable again soon.
The new boxes are the same size but these ones are plain white because they’re much less expensive and can hold a bit more sticker information. Maybe one day I can re-invest in the original boxes, which are laminated, colorful, much more durable, and self-promoting, twice as expensive to start, tho.
Will add pics of the new boxes once assembled and ready to go.

I’m on the road quite a bit making deliveries.
I purchased a hybrid car that slowed down massive gas consumption. New was over 60 miles per gallon, it was phenomenal! After several hundred miles, it now averages about 40-50 mpg on street.
This model of hybrid was also designed and built light with a tiny engine, gas consumption being foremost in mind, and it worked.
It’s street legal but NOT freeway legal, or shouldn’t be.
Even tho I now avoid freeways like the plague, I can’t recall seeing that many hybrids on freeways. Streets are packed with Teslas and hybrids, not on freeways.
There is a graph on the dashboard, when the engine works too hard, the graph goes into the red. Ignore it all u like, but when the engine starts banging like it’s trying to hop out of its cage, ignore that at your own risk, I’m not. If u can afford a new hybrid every few years, u can afford to overwork a tiny, gas-saving engine.
Certainly there are many hybrids on highways, but I have yet to see a single one on that 2-lane freeway with no shoulders, potholes, and a speed limit of 70 miles an hour.
Drivers who honk at hybrids barely making the speed limit, educate yourself.
Google it, and it’s not easy to find because it’s NOT a good selling point.
I’m impressed with hybrids and what we put up with.

HSUS does a lot of good and was founded to prevent cruelty to animals in laboratories and slaughterhouses.
It is the largest humane society in America.
There are individual Humane Societies in cities and states who save lives.
I always hope they avoid becoming any political tool and remain focused on understanding animals, helping societies and humans.

Although I’m still waiting for a chance to visit Black Beauty Ranch,
I’d like to visit here one day, too!
