All these years and it didn't occur to me to donate pumpkins at season's end..!?!
Better late than never I always say.
Pumpkins last well into November, so after Thanksgiving, after the pumpkin pie when meals are satisfied (and wallets a little thinner), when there are left-over whole pumpkins from decorations,
please think about donating to the critters at your local zoos.
In addition to rescue work, whether one agrees with zoo-keeping or not, it can help the critters.
Help with their play-time enrichment and ease the cost of food a bit, especially when it's so difficult to donate either time or money, these can be wonderful places to help out and recycle..!
